Lyn StClair began her professional career at age 10, selling her portraits from life of dogs and horses. As a teenager, she started self-publishing limited edition prints of her pen & ink drawings. That led to a career of drawing and painting exclusively from personal experience.

Her work is inspired by countless hours in the field watching wildlife, plein air painting, riding/training her horses, and exploring the country that inspires her work.

Lyn’s paintings have won over 80 awards across the country,…including Best in Show three years in a row at the Ward Museum Show. Her work has been exhibited at the Tucson Museum of Art, Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, Bennington Center for the Arts, the West Valley Art Museum, the Hiram Blauveldt Art Museum, and the Phippen Museum and the permanent collection of the Worrell Museum in Virginia.
