Marie Stevenson
Native Montanan, Marie Stevenson, has devoted her life to raising her family and promoting the arts. She taught art education to generations of Livingston public-school students between the years of 1989-2019. Additionally, Marie taught adult-ed ceramic classes for close to 30 years, developing years-long friendships with her devoted students. Marie’s effectively-informative, laid-back and sassy, teaching environment has had many students returning to her classes year after year. Primarily Marie has showcased her realistic bird sculptures and one-of- kind flower motifs on wheel thrown functional pottery. Her works have found homes both nationally and internationally. She along with her daughter, Kelly Stevenson, opened Teslow Art Center in 2020 where they continue teaching the art of clay.
